TB Solutions
TB•Solutions is an enterprise group of forward edge, leader in the development and global product provision, as well as in services and solutions for the new technologies of the information. The company began its activity in 1987 with the name of Intercomputer, S.A. At the beginning, the organisation was mainly focused on the processing of bank documents (receipts, effects,…). From 1990 onwards, the company has been exploring new activities related to services to banks, using appropriate telecommunication developments based on Videotex and the Internet.
In 1999, Intercomputer S.A. was acquired by the American multinational PSINet.
After working for two years in this multinational, the division of electronic bank solutions split from
PSINet to follow its own way with the name of Tools Banking Solutions (TB•Solutions).
TB•Solutions was born, as a matter of fact, in April 2001.
TB•Solutions has always maintained the same vocation on service from the beginning of the company, closely committed to the investigation, the development and the technological innovation, as it has been demonstrated in his active participation in numerous European and national projects of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce.
With all above, TB•Solutions is currently involved in a significant number of local, national and international R&D projects. On the national level, TB•Solutions is carrying out several projects related to the optimisation of the usage of Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs) in the information exchange between large organisations. Among the international Projects, TB•Solutions is managing an IST project (AEQUITAS, contract IST-2000-29569) whose main aim is to validate and demonstrate technologies and architectures related to the confidence in the context of advanced sceneries at large scale in the business or ordinary life. Moreover, TB•Solutions has submitted to the 6FP the expression of interest titled “Homogenise Health” whose goal is to create guidelines to harmonise information systems used by health professional to manage and to diagnose their patients.
Thanks to its great experience in electronic bank, Internet and secure transactions and Public Key Infrastructures, TB•Solutions has become a new trademark. In particular, the strong experience of the organisation in the file transmissions and PKIs had led TB•Solutions to enter the Healthcare market with advanced solutions (e.g. TraumActiva©), able to rationalise the management of healthcare delivery allowing cost savings.
