SYSteam UDAC
SYSteam Udac is a company fully owned by SYSteam group. The company today approximately employs 40 people whereas the entire SYSteam group has somewhere near 1000 people employed.
The original business called Udac was founded in 1965 and included computer outsourcing and systems development in health care and personnel administration. The business however was divided into smaller entities as SYSteam took over the company in 2000. Within SYSteam Udac the core business today is computer outsourcing, technical consulting, and systems development in more technical and security critical environments. There is still a very long experience within SYSteam Udac both in developing and managing IT- solutions for the health care business.
SYSteam Udac has a major part of its revenue from the health care business.
SYSteam Udac has for example developed a system on behalf of Swedens largest health care providers, Uppsala county council, that allows patients to access their own medical record via the Internet. This project was originally funded by the EU under the name of SUSTAINS. The demands on this solution were obviously very high in the security and integrity area, which made SYSteam Udac an obvious partner.
